About Printing Methods

  • Screen printing is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil.

    Silk screen printing is bulk order friendly but relatively expensive for small quantities. This is because the printers take time to create the mold and the cost of mold will be distributed equally to each shirt.

    Therefore, the larger the quantity, the lower the price.

  • You will need to choose A4 size although your logo or image is small. There is no discount for a smaller logo or image because silk screen printing is driven by mold.

    The cost of mold is fixed.

  • All the artwork must be vector graphic designed by using Adobe Illustrator (AI). PSD / PNG / JPG / JPEG images are not acceptable.

    • Step 1 : Make sure your color mode is CMYK instead of RGB color
    • Step 2 : Create outline (Ctrl + Shift + O) to make everything vector graphic
    • Step 3 : Save as PDF / AI

    We do recommend you to display the dimensions of the artwork like the sample shown below to prevent the output size from not meeting your expectation.

  • Heat Transfer Printing is the process of transferring an image from a transfer paper to a shirt. If you have a low quantity, heat transfer is relatively inexpensive compared to silk screen printing especially when the image is colorful and the size of image is small.

    However, the unit price of shirts will not drop significantly as the quantity increases because the cost of transfer paper is fixed. Therefore, it is not bulk order friendly.

  • You can use Canva / AI / PSD to design the artwork. PNG / JPG / JPEG images are acceptable but please make sure the resolution of the image is high (at least 300 dpi).

    • Step 1 : Make sure your color mode is CMYK instead of RGB color
    • Step 2 : Start to design your artwork
    • Step 3 : Save as PDF / PSD / AI / PNG / JPG

    We do recommend you to display the dimensions of the artwork like the sample shown below to prevent the output size from not meeting your expectation.

  • The printed shirts will have a little color difference. That's because the colors displayed on the screen of a computer and mobile phone are RGB color, and the ink used in printing is CMYK color. Usually the color difference is normal in the case of 5 - 10%. However, there is no obvious difference from the perspective of naked eye.

    If the color difference between the printed shirt and the original artwork is very different, such as from red to orange, we will refund in full amount and reprint it for free. However, we are very confident that this kind of mistake will never happen.
